As a landowner, tree-grower, wildlife professional, outdoors lover, and hunting passionate, I have always struggled with keeping the focus on what needs to be done at my property in Georgia. I am always looking forward to learning new things, and experimenting with new techniques to increase productivity and the sustainability of the land that I am taking care of. The land that takes care of me and my family.
I first got to know about Wildlife Trends about five years ago. I met Andy at a gun show, North of Atlanta, where he had a table with the journal. As a wildlife professional and a tree farmer myself, I was very interested in the content of this publication. I browsed some of the issues and I was immediately “hooked” (no pun intended). What got me was the simplicity and practical nature of the articles based on science and hands-on experience by the authors. I enjoy the journal a lot and learn new things that I can apply very quickly to my management plans.
I really enjoy the “Management Calendar” section because it keeps me on my toes with all the chores that need to be done!
I’m looking forward to the next issue!
